Terms of Use

Article 1 (The Service)

The Service is a site where users post and share fictional urban legends they have created. All posts are fiction and have nothing to do with real people, organizations, places or events.

Posts written with generative AI are welcome. The Service itself does not provide generative AI.

Article 2 (Registration and Accounts)

To post, comment, like, follow or report, you need to log in with your email address and register a profile.

You are responsible for managing your own email address and account. Do not register with someone else's email address.

Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not do any of the following:

• Refer to real people, organizations, companies or shops in an identifiable way that damages their reputation or credibility (please use invented names)
• Post other people's personal information (addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, photos of faces, etc.)
• Post content amounting to discrimination, harassment or threats
• Infringe copyrights or other rights, such as by reposting other people's text or images without permission
• Spread false information about real disasters, incidents or accidents as if it were true, causing people anxiety
• Post obscene content, content that sexualizes children, or excessively cruel content
• Encourage or assist crimes or illegal acts
• Advertising, solicitation, spam, or repeatedly posting the same content
• Interfering with the operation of the Service, unauthorized access, or impersonating others
• Any other conduct that violates laws or public order and morals

Article 4 (Use of Generative AI)

If you use generative AI, follow the terms of the AI service you use.

Even if text or images were produced by generative AI, the user who posts them is responsible for the content. Check the content before posting.

Article 5 (Rights to Posts)

The copyright in posted text and images remains with the user who posted them (or the original rights holder).

You grant the Operator a free license to display, reproduce and publish your posts, and to adapt them as needed for display (such as resizing images or showing excerpts), for operating and promoting the Service.

You warrant that you hold the rights necessary for your posts.

Article 6 (Hiding or Deleting Posts and Suspension)

When the Operator receives a report or a removal request, or decides that a post violates these Terms, it may hide or delete posts and comments without notice.

The Operator may suspend the accounts of users who repeatedly violate these Terms.

The Operator has no obligation to explain the reasons for these measures.

Article 7 (Disclosure of Sender Information)

If a person claiming their rights have been infringed makes a request under the law, or if a court or other authority requires it, the Operator may disclose information recorded at the time of posting, such as IP addresses.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

Posts on the Service are fiction, and the Operator does not guarantee their accuracy or usefulness.

Disputes between users, or between users and third parties, must be resolved between the parties. The Operator is not liable except in cases of its intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

The Operator may change the Service, or suspend or end it, without notice.

Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)

The Operator may change these Terms when necessary. The revised Terms take effect when they are posted on the Service.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to the Service.

To request removal of a post, for example because of defamation or invasion of privacy, use "Request removal" on the post or in the footer.
